E Chat Vancouver

Teaching at R-pool
R-pool does not offer full time work and can not sponsor visas but it is a company that gives you a part time position to help you fit lessons into your schedule at your convenience. This opportunity requires no previous employment experience at an (English) Eikaiwa school. We will consider anybody who has the right attitude, preferably a native English speaker and is ambitious about Teaching/tutoring English to Japanese students.

The company does not supply training or textbooks. Lesson topics will differ according to student’s requests. You will receive 2500yen for the hour in cash after the lesson unless otherwise specified by R-pool. R-pool is limited to introducing students in the Kansai area. That includes Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo and Shiga. Lessons may be held at different places depending on student’s requests. The company will match the most suitable student for the English instructor according to their location and personal interests.

There will be an unpaid 30-minute trial lesson that takes place, and if both parties agree to continue lessons, further actions will proceed to fix a lesson date. Lessons are generally one hour once a week. Most students are at a beginner level and will request free conversation that they can use at work or on a vacation.
