Any Plans for Golden week?
the first week of May is Japans longest holiday.
Its probably packed anywhere you go, but there are lots of things to see during that time. Universal studios will be having some kind of specaial event. Im going to Tokyo for some fast paced sightseeing. get out, get cultured.

Teaching at R-pool
R-pool does not offer full time work and can not sponsor visas but it is a company that gives you a part time position to help you fit lessons into your schedule at your convenience. I was riding my bike to work today and as I was stopped at the intersection, i heard a loud screech, and when i looked to see where it was coming from, i saw the impact of a car and a motorcycle. It was really scary to see, but its funny how even thought its such a horrible sight, i coudln't stop staring. The car was trying to make a right turn and the motorcycle ran a yellow. There must have been atleast a couple hundred witnesses as the intersection was packed. The motorcyclist's body was thrown like a rag doll about a few meters. I didnt stay to see what happend to him because i was already running late, but just a reminder to all out on the road to slow down and be careful!

KB

Teaching at R-pool
R-pool does not offer full time work and can not sponsor visas but it is a company that gives you a part time position to help you fit lessons into your schedule at your convenience. Its been a while since the last blog. Sorry for the delay. Have you noticed that there are so many convenience stores and fast food places here in japan that also exist in North america? Like 7/11, ampm, denny's and KFC? and you know what the funny thing is. Probably 80% of the japanese population think that its their own. They ask me "what? you guys have Denny's in The states?" ....-_-" It started in the states囹
its kinda funny how isolated this country is. It really truly is an island country. just thought i'd share those few thoughts. 
KB怜

Teaching at R-pool
R-pool does not offer full time work and can not sponsor visas but it is a company that gives you a part time position to help you fit lessons into your schedule at your convenience. When I first came to Japan i had so many culture shock experiences. Here are my top 5 so far.
1. McDonalds doesn't offer free re-fills.
2. Ketchup is an extra 10 yen!
3. The taxi doors in the back are automatic. Never open or close the doors yourself. It'll offend the taxi driver.
4. In the city, they sell dirty magazines in vending machines.
5. Junior Highschool and elementary school students have to wear helmets when they walk to school. (that was a funny sight.)

Keeping you posted.
KB
